OUR STORY

Emma Foods was formed out of a passion for delicious tasty, flavorful foods made in the traditional way using high-quality ingredients.

 

Growing up in Ghana, communal meal-sharing was common among siblings and peers, and one way to ensure that you had enough food to eat was to make the food spicy. However, after a while, your palette wonders if there is anything to break the monotony. We at Emma Foods once upon a time realized this. As most of you spicy food lovers out there, we knew we were missing out on flavor where spicy food was concerned. Not anymore. Our taste buds sent us on a journey of discovery, and we are happy to announce that after a careful combination of farm-fresh produce and highly refined oil, a refreshingly exciting burn is here. Drum roll, please…..Tazzi Sauce! Tazzi comes from the word “atazei” from the Ewe dialect in Ghana, which means “pepper.”
 

Our story is not unique, but our sauces are…and oh, our sources are too. We will not bore you with where we came from, how far we went to look for stuff, and what the far future holds, no. We will only excite you with sauces your buds will like. We will go so far as guaranteeing an experience. An experience you will keep coming back to.
